Accocunt disabled

I have used wp.org for many years under the username “linkomatic”. Suddenly I am unable to login with that username. I get an error message saying the account is “disabled”. I try to reset the password, but I receive another error saying the password cannot be reset for this account. What is going on?

Incidentally, I created this new login, with username “cpgjonm” using a Yahoo e-mail address, which I normally do not use. I was unable to create another account using a Gmail account — I receive yet another, obscure error saying something to the effect that the account can’t be created with this email address because “emails sometimes can’t be delivered” to such an address. What the heck?
