Accidentally marked Pinterest as "spam" in referrals

Pinterest now seems to be back among your referrers. Did you manage to solve the issue by yourself, or with the help of one of my colleagues?

Hi there! I don’t know if you can still see responses here since it’s “resolved”, but something strange happened. Last night, without me marking anything as spam (I’m know better now) all my Pinterest referral links disappeared from my desktop dashboard…but not my mobile dashboard. At the same time, someone linked to my site from this help topic, which makes me think that something is going on that is not of my own making here. Why have all my Pinterest referrals disappeared and why has someone been in this help topic post at the same time? Can you shed any light on this?

The exact same thing happened to me this morning. Pinterest is my top traffic source and this morning, it stopped showing up completely, although site traffic count is correct, just not showing pinterest!

I seem to also being having issues with my email notification system to which has been going on for over a week and I can’t get anyone to help! My hosting company says it is a plugin problem…

Me too. Pinterest has just disappeared off my jetpack referral list. Showing on google analytics so I know traffic is still coming in…

Okay – this is good to know. I didn’t think it was me. After I spammed Pinterest the first time, I learned my lesson. I knew I hadn’t done it again! Thanks for chiming in, folks.

My pinterest stats are back. Not sure what’s going on but happy to see things working again.

We’re indeed experiencing a few issues with the Referrers and Links displays at the moment, but you can rest assured: your stats are still being recorded properly. We’re working on fixing those display issues right now!

Thanks for your patience. I have an update – your referrers should be back in your stats now. They weren’t missing, they just weren’t being displayed in your dashboard stats.
