Hi there, great plugin. I’m hoping someone can help me, I installed the iThemes security plugin and changed the ‘admin’ username…since then I’ve been locked out of many menu items in the admin due to the settings I had made in the White Label CMS plugin.

Is there any way I can manually add my new username back to being recognized as the ‘super’ admin of the white label settings? I would love to avoid having to uninstall/reinstall the plugin as there were many customizations done in the setup.

My work around so far has been to simply disable the white label plugin whenever I need to make any edits to the areas that I’m blocked out of.

    Thanks!

    Hello,

The easiest way is to create a new administrator account. If the Users menu is hidden, kindly go to /wp-admin/users.php, add a new admin user and log-in using the new user account. Then, reconfigure White label cms settings.

Please let me know if this my recommendation works. Otherwise, we can figure out together a better way

Thank you for the quick reply! Sadly, this did not work. I’m still not seeing the White Label CMS option in the Settings menu or several other menus that I’ve hidden using the plugin.

Thanks again for your help ??

    Hello,

Sorry to hear that it didn’t work for you. Can you please confirm that upon logging in your newly created admin account, were you able to see the menu including the White Label CMS settings?

If yes, kindly go to “Menu” tab and tick your old super admin account under the “White Label CMS admin” section. Please see the link for reference: https://d.pr/i/9o0GDr

Hi there, sorry I was not more clear in my response.

After creating the new administrator account, I logged in using that account but was still not able to access the White Label CMS settings using that new account.

    Hello,

What you can do is to export, reset and re-import the White Label settings.

Note, you need to use your super admin account for this.

    1. Go-to {YOUR-SITE}/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=wlcms&wlcms-action=export, it will download your White Label CMS settings
    2. Next, go-to {YOUR-SITE}/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=wlcms&wlcms-action=reset
    3. After reset, it will redirect you to the settings page of White Label CMS, scroll down at the bottom then import the downloaded settings, after you selected the downloaded setting click save to process the import
    4. Click save button again to make sure that you will gain access as White label CMS Admin
