I accidentally deleted the wp_themes folder from in my cPanel. I don’t know where or how to put it back, and since my active theme is supposed to be in there, I’m not sure how to edit my theme.

    Thanks!

If you don’t still have the distribution you downloaded, simply download it again, extract the files, and reupload the missing folder and themes.

Will that mess up the modifications I made to the theme?

Yeah unfortunetely all changes you made to the themes died with the deletion. Unless your host has a backup you can refer to, you will be forced to make the changes again.

That’s what confuses me… I can’t find the wp_themes file, but my blog still shows the changes I made. Maybe it’ll be easier to just start over instead of trying to figure this out. It was over a year ago I set it up and can’t remembe what I did. :oP

    It should be in:
    /wp-content/themes/yourtheme

Oooh, that’s where it is!! Thanks so much! So I don’t need a folder named “wp_themes” then?

    Definitely not!
