Accidentally deleted root files :(

  • Hello
    i was uploading files with ftp ad i accidentally deleted root files, and some wp-admin files too.
    Obviously no backup…

    So i have upload from the wordpress installation files those who were missing, but now i have

    Not Found
    The requested URL / was not found on this server.

    The strange thing is that even if i upload a simple .html file to the root directory, i got the same error.

    Any help would be appreciate.

  • Did you delete config.php?
    If you did then you need to create a new.

    Do you have access to the database, if so I would suggest you make a manuel database backup, before you proceed with your attempts to recover your site.

    Yes i have create it, change configurations, but nothing happened…

    I can’t even browse a simple .html or .txt file on my root… Is it normal???

    Seeing as how you can’t see any other files anywhere, then no, it’s not normal and it sounds like something that you will have to talk to you rhosting company about.
