• I accidentally deleted the media.php file in cpanel. Of course, now I am getting fatal error messages. I am new to wordpress, but have installed plugins and themes. Do I have to delete wordpress in cpanel and download it again or can I get this missing file? I don’t want to have to redo all of the work I have done, but will if I have to. Thanks in advance for any help!

  • Just get a copy of whatever file you are missing and ftp it to the appropriate dirctory.

just click the download link at the top, right of this page
    grab the zip – unzip
upload file to site (through cpanel or ftp)
