When the option “disable link” is enabled with Mega Menu. The element still uses the <a> tag but the “href” attribute is missing. This flags a “broken link” warning with the Accessibility Checker plugin. Is there a way for it not to use the “a” tag with the ‘disable link’ setting?

    Hi codeink,

I think that might be an issue with the Accessibility Checker plugin. You should find the <a> has an extra attribute (role=button) when the link is disabled, making the accessibility checkers happy (even though an anchor without an href is valid HTML anyway). Please try checking using Google Lighthouse – it should be valid.

    Regards,
    Tom
