    Hi,

I was recently notified by a customer that the welcome emails from MailPoet are not accessible. The table markup of those email templates are creating problems with screen readers, and it was suggested to me to remove the tables and use a plain text email instead of the templates, or build a template that does not use table markup for the layout. I could not find a way to do that.

Is it possible to change the welcome email to a plain text email (like the signup confirmation email)?

Or is there a way to use templates without table markup in the current version of MailPoet?

If not, is either of these options something you could include in a future update?

    Thanks,
    bstnstn

    Hi there @bstnstn,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I apologize for the inconvenience with accessibility with MailPoet’s newsletter.

This issue has been reported before and it’s already added to our backlog

However, we don’t have any ETA for the fix now.

Once again, thank you for reporting it!
