Accessibility: how to add aria-label

Hi,

The plugin does not provide a way to add the aria-label attribute. At the moment, the only way to do this would be via javascript.

I’ll check it and I’ll (probably) implement it in a future version but I can’t say exactly when. Probably within the next 1 or 2 versions(?)

I’ll post here an update when I do.

@linksbreaker I’ve updated plugin’s development version so you can add the aria-label attribute in the shortcodes (for PHP version 5.3 and above).

You can test it if you want by downloading and using the development version (instead of the current plugin version you have). If you do, let me know if everything works as expected regarding the attribute.

This update will be part of next plugin version (1.7.8). If you use the development version, you can update to version 1.7.8 when it becomes available, as you normally do.

Unfortunately it doesn’t work for me. Maybe I am doing something wrong?
I’m using the following shortcode (simplified for this example, but its structure is the same)

<svg aria-hidden=”true”>Here a SVG file</svg>
[/ps2id]

@linksbreaker Oh sorry, my bad! I forgot to post how to add the attribute in the shortcode. You use aria_label:
