    My audience includes people who are fully blind so we test with Jaws Screen reader.
    Floating menus never work with a screen reader so I was really hopeful this plugin could be used as it will add to my menu (yay) but the word “English” on the menu has no meaning for someone who is blind. Can I change it so it reads “Translate” with the 3 languages in the dropdown? No flags please.

    I did try the shortcode and failed.

    Hi,

    My suggestion would be to use a simpler language selector for your specific case.

    You can check the following Widget Looks: Dropdown, Language names, Language codes

    You can add a prefix like Select language: …
