Hi, I’m building a custom Events loop in a page builder (Breakdance Builder). Would you foresee any problems if I made tribe_venue post type public? I have a filter for functions.php which works. Just wasn’t sure if it may cause any problems with the operation of your (great!) plugin? There is no sensitive information in the Venue post type in this case. Thanks for such a nice plugin ??

    Hi @dude101

This is a great question! Venues itself is a custom post type with additional element on it (where the address information is stored) and you can view its content publicly on this default URL format yoursite.com/venue/venue-slug-goes-here.

If you want to display them on the front end, there shouldn’t be any problem with it. Also, if you want to modify the upcoming events at each venue, this filter might help.

Hi so sorry I haven’t been on this laptop. Thanks for your help and your great plugin. I ended up doing a filter in functions.php to make the post type public first (using Breakdance Builder). Will have a read of the filter you suggested, thanks for taking the time to reply. All the best and thanks again ??
