    Hi there

    I’m experimenting with instagram feed plugins and I can see that my access token expires every 60 days. I’ve tried switching to a business account after reading your FAQ, but this token expires after 90 days.

    I know there’s an API call now provided to refresh the access token and extend it for another 60 days so I have a couple of questions:

    – Does either your free or premium plugin have settings to schedule a refresh of the access token?

    – If not, would it be possible for me to schedule a cron job to referesh the token eg once a month? And do you have any sample code?

    I’m sure this must be a common problem after the API upgrade?

    Hey @cgreen177 ,

    Thank you for reaching out to us with your question.

    Our plugin will check the Access Token expiry date every so often, and if the expiry date is close it will attempt to perform a refresh of the token and as such, our users should – as long as the Access Token stays otherwise valid – never need to manually refresh their Access Token due to it expiring through time. This is in both the free, and pro versions of our plugins.

    Thank you! Great news.

    One thing that might be very useful is to show the token expiry date on the settings tab along with the ID. It would give people a really easy way to check the status – and a warm fuzzy feeling of seeing it automatically extend!
