Currently this feature only works, when a user is deleted from your site.
I have some reason, why I was’t implemented the unlink process at the profile page:
– Not every Facebook user allow the app to use the email address, which means WP can’t send out “forgot password” emails – so next time the user with an unlinked account can’t log back to her/his account.
– Unlinking allow the users to simply register an account with one click, unlink it with one click, the reregister an account… which could result spam and other not desired things.
This topic could be a thought-provoking topic to figure out some kind of solutions for the problems above.
