Access to staging site is open to all

    Hi Rene,
    I use your plugin in several WP sites. In the last 2 that I have installed I have noticed that access to the site is open to everyone. I searched for information in your FAQ and finally installed the Maintenance Mode plugin so that it was only possible to view the site by admin. I have installed several more plugins, including iThemes Security where I have changed the way I logged in, but I have disabled it and it keeps happening.

    Hi,

    wp staging must be active on the staging site and authentication must not be disabled in wp staging settings.

    Btw. In new version we will create a robot.txt entry to make sure that google never indexing a staging site. No matter if authentication is enabled or disabled.

    Ok, a mistake of mine. I deactivated all plugins to test a plugin and only reactivated a few that I thought were indispensable to theme work. I didn’t know that yours was also necessary. I love your plugin. I used to test at a local site before. Thanks!
