Access to Paypal using the same tab instead in a modal window

    Hi!
    Usually, when you click on the button to pay, e-commerce sites redirect to Paypal in the same tab/window, and redirect back to the site once the payment is finished.

    This plugin, instead, opens a new small modal window in your browser to login and finish the payment through Paypal.

    I would prefer the first option, I am not a fan of modal windows in browsers.

    I wonder if there is any settings that change this behaviour to work as most sites do. If not, I would suggest to implement it.

  • Hi @estebantejedor,

    Thank you for reaching out to us regarding PayPal Express Checkout! By design this plugin allows for purchase on your site, it is not supposed to take the customer to PayPal directly.

    For taking the customer to PayPal directly you can use the PayPal Standard gateway which comes with WooCommerce by default, and disable the Checkout gateway. If you need anything else please let me know!
