Getting this message when trying to record audio

Access to microphone is not allowed in your browser since this page is not served using HTTPS. Please contact the author, and ask him to make this available using HTTPS

I was real excited about this plugin until I found out that I need to have my site hosted on https before the audio recorder will work. Would have been nice to know that before I installed it. Is there a way around this or no? Thanks

Please note that this is a limitation in your browser to protect your privacy. I believe you can override this option somewhere in the browser if you want to.

OK thanks. Yes, I just told Google that I still wanted to proceed to page and the recorder works now.

Another quick question though, would it be possible to make it so it saved the recorded audio files to the media manager instead of having to download them just to re-upload them again. Would be great if you could add this feature to future release. Thank you for this nice plugin!

    That good.

Currently, there’s still some work involved saving the audio to the media manager, though it would be a really nice feature to have. Hopefully, we’ll get the time to implement this some time in the future.
