On my sidebar, ALL pages are being displayed and I only want particular pages displayed. I think if I can change a page to “secondary” status instead of “primary” then I can control which pages are displayed on the sidebar. Any thoughts?

Access Press Store comes with an “Exclude” function on the sidebar widget, but it does not work. I am using a child theme and here is my site: https://blissfulnaturals.biz/ Thanks for ANY help!

    Hi there,

The exclude function will surely work. You need to put the page ID of the page you want to exclude. You can get the page ID of particular pages when you edit any page and on the end of the URL you will get its ID. e.g.

    https://localhost/accesspress-store/wp-admin/post.php?post=91&action=edit

Here 91 is that page ID, which you need to put in exclude field in the pages widget.

    Thanks

Thank you for your reply Access Keys Member, here is a url from one of my Pages that I want to exclude from the sidebar:

    https://blissfulnaturals.biz/cart

    What is the id?

Hey, I found it! Thank you for the clue, Access Keys Member. Even with a custom ip address which doesn’t have any numerals in it, if you look at the back-end code with Firefox’s Firebug tool (or the Inspect Element tool available when you hover over the page you want to Exclude and right-click your mouse), you will see something like “page-item-40”, and to make the Exclude function work on AccessPress Store’s sidebar, you have to enter the two digit id, ie “40”. Only took me two weeks to figure it out … hope I’m saving the next person a little time.
