Access plan button popover

The changelog for LifterLMS mentioned the following:

An access plan button for a plan belonging to only one membership will click directly to the membership as opposed to opening a popover. Plan’s with access via multiple memberships will continue to open a popover listing all availability options.

Is it possible to make all access plan buttons show the popover, regardless of the number of memberships? In other words, how can I make it behave like it did before? Do I change a template or add a filter/action…?
