Please, go to your php.ini, there should be something similar to ;extension=fileinfo.so or ;extension=php_fileinfo.dll. You will need to remove the ; (or uncommens) to enable these.

I do not see anything in relation to fileinfo in the extensions.

Also, I’ve discovered the problem is wp-vcd, is this software adept at removing this infection or should I look elsewhere?

Yes, do the scanning:
WordPress Admin Page —> Settings —> Security by CleanTalk —> “Malware Scanner” tab —> Perform Scan

I was able to remove the infection myself, how would I request to cancel my service and receive a refund?
