    Hi,

First about the access, I read every topic here, but not find decision for it. Like you know the last point in the T&C page is Download, but when I click on it, it say Forbidden access. I use All in One Security and I’m sure the problem came from there, but I don’t know how to fix it. And even better will be if I can remove the last point Download, because I don’t need it. This access problem exist as well on the button in dashboard of this plugin “System Status”.

Second about the manual changes which I want to do in the T&C page.

I try first this method with function.php https://complianz.io/changing-the-text-in-your-legal-documents/ but not change anyting. Then try this https://complianz.io/editing-terms-conditions/ but I don’t have these option in the page editor so I can’t un-synchronize the page and also prefer do not do it…

Now if you check the link with my page you will see my old page and this from you plugin together so will be a little bit confusing, but when I try to do any changes, I generate new through the wizard so this is not the problem.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @antekapa,

The 403 Forbidden error when you try downloading the System Status or PDF is likely the result of a security measure that prevents access to the location of these files. Once that restriction is removed, these will start working again.

To Edit the contents of your T&C page, you can edit the page with an editor such as Gutenberg or the Classic Editor, select “Unsync and edit document” as listed in the article; which allows you to freely edit its contents.

    Kind regards, Jarno

    Hi, thanks for your reply.

About the 403, I know is security problem, that’s why I told you, I’m using All in One security, but I don’t know what is the problem with, because I have another plugins doing the same (download access) but no problem with them. Any way this is not important I prefer to remove it..

About the Editing like I said I not see this option, I think I use the classic editor https://ibb.co/Ptd0PzZ

    Thanks!

    Hi @antekapa,

To edit the document, please select/highlight the Legal Document block by clicking it once. Then click the “Block” tab as shown in your screenshot, where the ‘unsync and edit’ option can be found.

The “download.php” file that generates the PDF is located in /wp-content/plugins/complianz-terms-conditions/downloads.php, and your site restricts access to that path, so you receive a 403 Forbidden when trying to open it.

You can check if your Security tool is related to this by trying if the behavior persists after temporarily disabling it, if not, you might need to adjust the permissions of the above path. (https://complianz.io/folder-permissions/)

    Kind regards, Jarno

    Hi @jarnovos

I find why I not find this Edit option so long. Your page was inserted with shortcode, but that not work with un-synchronizing function. I transform the page into s blocks and add your template block and now it works :).

But I think if you make it possible, in some future update, for edit without un-synchronizing will be better. Like a final step in the wizard “Check and Edit” but after that your plugin must not override the changes ?? And like that if some legal rules have to be changed and you did it, we all will get the new updates, now I have to check regularly for changes and then to do my manually made changes again… But this is my opinion ??

About the download, no matter I don’t need it.

Thanks a lot for you help!
