Access denied wp-db.php

I just changed all the password of all my sql users.
I have 3 mysql account in the system. I updated the new password in the wp-config file.

When I try to open the website – it says ‘access denied for user ‘root@localhost using password yes. Path t wp-db.php

root is not the username define in the wp-config but in the error it seems it is trying to use ‘root’.

I have tried logging in on mysql using the username and password defined in the wp-config and it worked fine.

Any ideas?
