    Hi,

first, thank you for developing this plugin – it’s very good, precisely what I was looking for.

But, I have a problem with the single document posts. For hidden files set to be downloaded by logged-in users only, it always displays “This file cannot be downloaded” instead of the download button and “Access denied” in the version table – even for properly logged-in users (including admin).

Downloading from the default listing works, but I was hoping to be able to share links to specific files, which I now can’t.

    Thanks for your time,
    AF

Ill look into this issue and get back to you with my results.

    What options are you setting:

If you are setting “File Status” to hidden then no one will be able to download the file.

What you want to set is “Downloadable by Non Members” and make sure that is unchecked.

So set the file options to “File Status” : Public
and “Downloadable by Non Members”: unchecked

This will allow members to download the file and all others will need to either become a member or login.

But what if I want the document to be visible only to logged in users? I don’t need (or want) non-authenticated users to see what the login-restricted files are.

then you would have to set these two options:

    Hide all Post (non members)
    Hide all Files (non members)

There is no per file setting for this functionality it is either all or nothing.
