    I installed your plugin, created a staging site and it completely hosed my site. I was getting “Access denied. Login first” on my main url (www.threesquaresne.org) I removed the staging site and still got the issue. I uninstalled your plugin and still have this issue however it is sporadic!

    Sometimes it happens when going directly to the site.

    Sometimes it will happen when you click on the logo of the site.

    It is now random

    Can you please help!?

    Hello Pete,

    the message “login first” should only appear on yourwebsite.com/stagingsubfolder

    Its very very unlikely that you got that error on your live site.
    However, please send me a mail to support at wp-staging.com and i dig into this.

    Important: Purge the cache if you are running one.

    I would like to help me, and double the site with the plugin but I could not turn that option and wish not to leave me the error “Access denied. Login first “there any way to fix that? Since I have made many changes to the site doubled

    I am having the same problem. The plugin was working correctly. Now when ever I activate it (no staging sites are currently setup) the main site is not accessible without login.

    @esp999 Have you ever moved the staging database to the live one or did you use the staging site as live site? To fix this you need to delete the db entry wpstg_is_staging_site in wp_options table of your live site
