access denied

  • A few months ago the slider within Bridge theme on my WordPress was not editable. Akismet w/wordpress / Evanto Market

    Friday my site went down says: access denied

    My host ipage was able to reset permissions and the site was up minus the slider.

    I cannot sign-in to the WP admin page with my credentials to my website

    Access denied means your file permissions or ownership are incorrect. You’ll need to recontact your host about this.

    It is possible that a rule in your .htaccess file is forbidding your access. That is usually what this message indicates. These rules are usually inserted by intention, but sometimes a plugin can cause it. You can deactivate your plugin through cpanel. Hope this will help you.
