Access Denied

  • I have a problem with this plugin, i bought it… when i try to update a product the page show me this error

    The page you are trying to access is restricted due to a security rule.

    If you believe the security rule is affecting the normal operation of your website, contact your host support team and provide detailed instructions how to recreate this error.
    They will be able to assist you with rectifying the problem and adjusting the security configuration if needed.

  • Hi Kevin,

    The error that you are getting above is usually not due to the plugin. If you’re getting a “security rule”, then it is likely caused by either some kind of restriction that’s been placed directly in your site or at the hosting level. Do you have any security plugins installed? Or maybe caching plugins that also have security-like features? Or do you have any plugins installed that restrict user accesses and roles? You should also look in your .htaccess file to see if there is any code in there that would affect this.

    I am having the same issue when I try to use the Pretty Links plug in. Would Akismet Anti-spam plug-in cause this ?

    It shouldn’t. Did you try any of the suggestions from our previous reply? If you deactivate all other plugins, do you still get the error?
