    G’day Rohit,

    This only works when the file is an external link to a web-accessible file. Your file is loaded into the protected folders of EDD uploads, so it cannot be accessed externally (this is good for files that require purchase!)

    Load a new copy of the file into your Media Files in WordPress, or somewhere else that is publicly accessible like the Public folder in your DropBox account, and grab the link to the file. Remove the file you have on your Download, and add a link to the new file.

    Thanks for the prompt response.

    In that case, is it compatible with Frontend Submissions? As by default the file uploaded by user goes in protected folder. Do we have any workaround for that?
