    is there any way of combining this plug-in with some sort of user access control to allow restricting access to certain PDFs to users with passwords, or WP subscribers/roles? do you have any examples of this.

    The plugin extends WP default behavior, so if you have security plugin for post-s and page-s – it should work for 3d-flip-book-s as well.
