• Hi!

Just occasionally have found this amazing plugin!

I was looking for simple tool, which allows my publishers to edit ALT tags for images in bulk mode.

But to do this thing, user must be an administrator. It is a bot weird and seems to be not right.

Are there any possibility to grant limited access to this functionality?
Because WP itself has built-in restrictions for authors – they can edit only their own articles…

Thanks in advance – hope for solution!!… and nice job again.

Using Yoast SEO, now don’t know – may be your plug in will replace it… )))

Or, may be, implement functionality just of “tag posts” tab, because it contains everything we need.

    Every post has 10-15 pictures.
It seems like a GREAT solution. But it should not have administrative access to use ??

And THERE ARE NO even one plug-in, like your.
It will be break-throw, I can assure you. But – some functionalities should be added ??

Now I just perform some user rights adjustments in the code and granted access to authors to the Posts Tab

    But the problem is deeper.

It changes ALT tags and TITLES for the Image, but in the Image Library, which is practically 1/2 useless… – cause not in the post itself, in which this image is included.
Seems it is not in functionality

    Hi LP,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
It is a holiday weekend here.

Our team will look into this.
Currently, it is important for us to keep content as protected as possible.
With all of the content being updated as tags are updated, the user should have Admin access as care needs to be taken when updating massive amounts of blog data like we are doing.

Many of our update routines use functions where WordPress requires Admin access. But we will investigate if there is a method for allowing Editors or Authors to perform the same steps.

    Thanks for you suggestion.

Oh, holidays are great. But have to work…

    So the main thing is:

It changes ALT tags and TITLES for the Image, but in the Image Library, which is practically 1/2 useless… – cause not in the post itself, in which this image is included.
    Security proposal:
Authors are allowed to edit their posts, so IF grant them right to edit ALT tags only to images, related to their post AND then automatically change this ALTs\TITLEs in post itself, this plugin will be just priceless ??

It is a lot of tools to bulk change ALT tags, but in library, not in the posts.
A lot of tools are changing alts for images to the same as post title. And all the images are with the same ALT, which is BAD.

It is core WP issue (different ALT in post and library), and, if you will provide some solution for it, – let me assure you – you download rate will be like skyrocket.

Thanks for the answer! Hope I can help you.
i see such a great potential in your plugin. Strange it has so low download rate for now…

    Have a good holidays!
