    Hi droid,

Happy to make some suggestions. As you requested, I am not making your URL public. I will try to find things that others can still benefit from.

I did not see ads within articles on many pages. The sidebar position is less attractive for ads that pay best for clicks, like AdSense.

The setup is the same on mobile, which means that the ads won’t be visible for most visitors to your site, who will also not click on them. AdSense considers the Active View number as important for ad bits, so you might want to think about moving more ads to a higher position.

There are also no ads on category pages. I would advise checking how many of your visitors see your archive pages and if this is a significant amount, move some ads between posts.

    I hope that helps.

    Hi Thomas,

Thank you for keeping your promise regarding ad optimization reporting which totally confirm my observation and unfortunately contradict what Joachim (technical support from Advanced ads) kept saying to me, that ads are showing up more than enough,
which is clearly not the case.

While appreciative for the over all very general report,it never specify regarding what best performing size ads should be exactly AMP or desktop Responsive or Fixed
and where would be optimum exact best performing location on posts for best results.

Thank you for replying back as soon as possible today with all specifics(i.e. exact best performing size + “responsive or not” and exact best performing location) in order to ensure the completeness of the review so it is much more in depth so others can still benefit .

    Hi Droid,

I agree with Joachim that you have too many ads in the sidebar. You should move them to more attractive positions.

I can only make general suggestions. There is no one-size-fits-all solution for ads. A rule of thumb is to have standard sizes like Medium or Large Rectangle at the lower part of the content. You can use our rotating ad groups and placement tests to find the best position and size. It can even change over time on your site.

    Thomas
