Accepting PayPal Payments

  • Hi,

    I wanted to know if there is any way to start accepting PayPal payments other than using the PayPal Express Checkout option? I ask this because Express is only available to PayPal merchants who are generating more than ￡1500 per month (PayPal will verify this) before they let you use Express Checkout.

    I’d like to find out how anyone has integrated PayPal (or any other gateway) with CoursePress?

    Hey there haris1014,

    How are you doing today?

    CoursePress also has integration with WooCommerce so you should be able to use WooCommerce payment gateways.

    You’ll find the options for that on the bottom of the CoursePress -> Settings -> General page once you activate WooCommerce on your site.

    I have a theme, i installed coursepress as a plugin, create my course and i would like to receive payment with paypal. I downloaded and installed woocommerce but it is nos working, please any help? Thanks

    Hey Desi,

    CoursePress can use either MarketPress or WooCommerce for payments, if you’re looking to use WooCommerce you need to go to CoursePress -> Settings -> General and check WooCommerce Integration options as mentioned above, see screenshot https://screencast.com/t/Y546zhjXkyu. Please note that in order for the option to be visible you need to have WooCommerce activated.

    If you still have any issues please open your own thread and try to provide more information about the issues you’re having.
