Acceptance not working – no errors showing

    Hi there,

    I’m trying to implementate a “agree to terms” checkbox with

    acceptance_as_validation: on in the settings

    so my generatetet [acceptance datenschutz-zustimmen] is integratet and the Checkbox is also visible in the form.

    But, if the box isn’t checked, and I will push the “send” button, the form closes automatically and no errors are shown. The Mail will not be send it’s good, but it’s not working correctly I think.

    When I check the box, the Mail will be send.

    The form ist implemented in an Elementor Pop Up. But it doesnt show any error when a requered field isn’t filled.

    Any Idea?

    The Site is https://feuerwehrlueneburg.de

    It is, that the form will not show errors, doesn’t matter if it is an required field or the acceptance section.

    It is the Red Button

    It just close itself and doesn’t show any error message.

    I’m using the following Plugins:
    Elementor Pro
    Einsatzverwaltung
    Essential Addons for Elementor
    Events Addon for Elementor
    Download Button for Elementor
    DSGVO
    Members
    PHP Native Password Hash
    Post SMTP
    Ultimate Member
    Udraft
    User Menus
    WP Last Login
    WP Telegram
    WP Sweep..

    but even if I disable all Plugins, except for elementor and contact form 7 it’s not working too.

    Try switching to the default theme and deactivating all plugins excluding Contact Form 7.

    Why you are advised to deactivate plugins and switch to the default theme.

    Did it….but nothing changed, only Elementor and CF7 was enabled,…I never changed my theme

    Well I’m getting new information, it seems, that it depends how the form would be integratet.

    So when I’m just using, shortcode on the site. It works very well. But it doesn’t work with Essential Addons Widget for Elementor “Contact Form 7 Widget”.

    Maybe this would help for development.
