Acceptance not validating

    Shortcode is [acceptance acceptance-285 class:wpcf7-validates-as-required custacc]Accept[/acceptance]

    And I have acceptance_as_validation: on in the additional settings

    I can submit the form without checking the box

    Try switching to the default theme (Twenty Nineteen or Twenty Seventeen) and deactivating all other plugins.

    None of that worked … because a previous developer had explicitly disabled loading of WPCF7 scripts within WP-COnfig!! Gah!
