acceptance box doesn't gives back a message if unselected

  • Hi all,

    I wanted to insert an acceptance checkbox. Unfortunately, if this is not selected by the user, nothing is done by pressing “submit”. It’s not working. If I select the acceptance box and leave some other required fields free, then the submit button is working. It gives back a message to the user.

    What can I do so that the submit button is working also with the unselected acceptance button and gives back a message to the user that he has to accept at first? I think, it’s a little error in the PHP code, but I don’t know what.

  • The Acceptance Checkbox tag in CF7 is intended to work exactly as you described – see – Acceptance Checkbox – it is not an error.

    For the form to operate as you want, ??you could probably use an ordindary Checkbox instead of an Acceptance Checkbox.
