    Hi,

Can you advise as to what postcode format is acceptable for shipping? e.g. can the postcode be a mix of postcodes with a space and without a space or do we need to remove spaces (or add spaces)?

    TN138XB
    TN125LL
    TN2 4DB
    TN5 8JA

Will a postcode setup as e.g. TN2 4DB also be found if typed as TN24DB

    Thanks.

    Those are UK postcodes?

Woo seems to handle them really well – it doesn’t matter if the customer inputs, for example, TN2 4DB or TN24DB – it treats both as TN2

    Hello @elainewildash

    I agree with @seank123.

In WooCommerce, we do not enforce any specific format for the postcode field in the shipping address. This means that your customers can enter their postcodes with or without spaces, and our system will accept both formats.

For example, a postcode like TN2 4DB can also be entered as TN24DB, and both will be recognized as valid by WooCommerce.

Therefore, while WooCommerce does not enforce a specific postcode format, it might be a good practice to advise your customers to enter their postcode in the format preferred by your shipping carrier. You can add this information to your shipping guidelines or FAQs for your customers’ convenience.

I hope this clarifies your concern.
