Accept button not working after upgrading from 1.5.9 to 2.0.7

We experienced issues after updating from 1.5.9 to 2.0.7 (running WP 5.8.3). After the update we noticed sporadic issues with the Accept button not functioning and the devtools console throwing a 403 on admin-ajax.php. To resolve the only change we made was to roll back to version 1.5.9 of the plugin. Thoughts?
