Academica: How to remove the comment section from a page

I have the same question.

Open the page in the dashboard, make sure that comments are selected in the screen options, then scroll to the bottom of the page and deselect Discussion-Allow comments.

Edit: make sure that Discussion is selected in the screen options, not “Comments” as stated above.
