Abundance Theme Widgets Not Showing

Having issues with widgets on an Abundance child theme. I can’t click on the downward arrow to open and edit any of the widgets nor are the media buttons within posts or pages working. Although they are working in library.

I’ve isolated the issue to the theme and installed new WP, deactivated all plugins etc etc and added code define(‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’, false ); to the wp-config.php file near top as directed by the theme support people. This worked, once. I was able to go in and access the widget but after uploading an image I went back and couldn’t access the widgets again.

So the issue seems intermittent….

Anyone come across this? Suggestions as to what I can try next?
