Absolutely thrilled!

I have a site that had random php files showing up for a couple of years. I did my best to remove them, change passwords, everything I could think of to make it stop. When I finally received an email from Google stating that they were going to delist my site due to SEO hijacking, I knew I had to do something.

First I installed one of Wordfence’s competitors. It found the problems but wouldn’t tell me what they were without purchasing their product. Fair enough, they deserve to be paid for their work, but I thought I’d also give Wordfence a try and see if both tools found problems. To my amazement, the free version of Wordfence found the problems, offered to fix them, fixed them, and continued to monitor my site. I kid you not, my site was fixed and secured within about 15 minutes! It’s simple with the right tools!

I’m now a Wordfence Premium subscriber and will be for as long as I use WordPress to create my websites. This is as essential as your hosting for the security and stability of your site. I was naive before and had no idea the extent that hackers and hacker bots were targeting my sites.

I emailed Wordfence to thank them and received a very prompt reply. They take their role seriously and are very customer focused.

I can’t recommend Wordfence enough. Install it!
