Absolute Paths in Menu not working

Hello, I have a problem with the Wordpess Menu on my Site. When I create an unique-identifier on my website, where I can jump to for easier navigation, I can’t put this link in a menu.
For example: I have an identifier “download” in my site. When the link gets added to the menu, it works only on this particular site. when I try to access that link from the menu on a subsite of my website, it does not work. The URL given by this individual link gives: https://www.mysite/subsite/#download instead of the correct link I put in: https://www.mysite/#download.
I don’t know what the problem is here.
