About “Trident” theme

  • It looks like it’s the one I’m going to use.
    Looks simple and very customizable, and as stylish as the webmaster want it to be.
    I’m just starting learning CSS thought, so I have some questions about customization. Root, (the theme creator?), used to be in this support forum.

    Considering that left and right columns are filled by the same gif image (which is the background), Is there a simple way to fill the right column background with a different color ?

    The theme creator used to have a blog on which this theme customization is discussed. I can’t find it.
    There should be a website with hints about this theme somewhere, I think it’s a very popular theme. Anyone knows ?

  • Well, Root is not around for quite a while. I wouldn’t say it’s a “very” popular theme, though probably it is used by some users. I don’t know of any website with “hints” about using/customizing it. And I don’t remember it being discussed even on Root’s site – when it was up.

    And yes, you can have 2 different images for the left and right side, just name them differently and modify the reference to it in the stylesheet.
