About to give up trying to move hosts…..begging for help….arghh!

So i’ll keep it short, i have been trying to move hosts since thursday. After many failed attempts, realizing that my FTP was set to ascii and therefore corrupting all the images, then realizing that i was moving the database with incorrect settings, then i ran into DNS issues…blah blah blah…

So i went through the wordpress step by step guide this morning, with the correct ftp and phpmyadmin settings and i was elated to see everything appear to work…..HOWEVER!!!

1) The link to the about page gets a 404 error. As does the link to archives, but NOT the contact page.

2) When i go to write a new post, and click on Publish, i get this error:

But then if you go to the site, the post is there.

I must admit after trying to do this for 3 days straight i am seriously frustrated. I know everyone says this is easy, but i would really really appreciate some help.
