    I downloaded the plugin About the Author largely so I could add the widget to my sidebar area, however when I add the widget the author box shows up on every page instead of the front page.

    I think this is because there is a separate area for front page widgets, but that only works if I have a static front page.

    Any suggestions for how to get the author box to show up in my sidebar on the home page?
