I installed a new woocommerce and discovered the problem. The optional add (ship to different address?) option that should appear on the payment page is missing! ! !
At first I thought it was an issue with the shipping settings, but troubleshooting revealed that wasn’t the case. I also checked that the themes and plugins have nothing to do with these.

    Hi @robynbath

Looking at your screenshot, it seems like you’ve set up your shipping settings correctly. Despite my attempts, I wasn’t able to replicate the issue on my testing site, neither locally nor live.

To provide you with a more effective solution, could you share some additional details? For instance, are you using the checkout block or shortcode on the checkout page? Have you made any customizations to the checkout template? Additionally, please can you share a copy of the following:

    • System Status Report: Navigate to WooCommerce → Status. Select Get System Report and then Download for Support.
    • Fatal Error log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce → Status → Logs.

You could copy and paste your reply or share it via Mozilla Community Pastebin and share the link here.

In the meantime, you can run a conflict test to help you identify the cause of the issue. More info: https://woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

Let me know once you have done a conflict test! Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Should I paste the system report here (Mozilla Community Pastebin) and submit it?
My logs don’t show any errors.
Also, I tested various conflicts, deleted the site and reinstalled with just WooCommerce and the editor, and the feature still doesn’t show up.

    Hi @robynbath

Yes, please do paste your System Report on the Mozilla Community Pastebin and share the link here. This will allow us to understand your site’s environment better and hopefully pinpoint what might be causing this issue.

Also, could you please confirm if you are using the checkout block or the shortcode on the checkout page? This information could be crucial in diagnosing the problem.

Furthermore, even though you’ve performed a conflict test, I would recommend doing it once more, but this time, following these steps:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront or Twenty Twenty-Four
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you do not see the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To determine which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

When you’re doing conflict testing, ensure you set the “Shipping destination” to “Default to customer billing address”. Also, don’t forget to turn on the debug mode and clear both your site and browser cache.

Let me know once you have done a conflict test! Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

This is the analysis link for the system report https://paste.mozilla.org/xVb3XHjV

I am not using any checkout blocks or shortcodes.

This is a new website, only Storefront theme with woocommerce installed, nothing else

    Hey, @robynbath!

    Thanks for the information.

The snippet expired. Can you please share it again and make sure to set a longer timer so we can check it? ??

I am not using any checkout blocks or shortcodes.

Please note that one of those two must be used for the checkout page to function.

To see which one your site is using please go to Pages > Checkout page.
There, you can click on the three horizontal lines on the top left to open list view.
The list view will show the list of blocks used. If it says checkout, this means you are using the checkout block. If it says short code, this means you are using the shortcode checkout.
If you are unsure, you can share a screenshot of it with us so we can take a look.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Have a wonderful day!

    Hi @robynbath

    Thanks for sharing further details.

I’ve done thorough testing and noticed that the “Ship to a different address?” option seems to have been removed from the checkout block. However, it appears perfectly when you use the checkout shortcode or classic checkout.

I have created a bug report in our GitHub repo here: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/48087

At the time being, we can’t give you an estimate for when the team will look into or fix the issue, as bug reports are prioritized based on a few criteria. Please subscribe to the GitHub issue if you’d like to receive updates.

In the meantime, as a workaround, you can use the classic checkout or the checkout shortcode to your checkout page. This should help you resolve the problem.

I wish I could help more, but hopefully, this gets you going in the right direction to get the job done.

Unfortunately, changing to classic checkout as you did still didn’t solve the problem.

    Hello robynbath

    Thank you for your reply.

To confirm, you are using [woocommerce_checkout] shortocode on the Checkoute page?

Here is result of the shortcode:
