• I am not using Custom CSS- i am just working in the free template since this is a very simple project. I had another template I wanted to use but was having a lot of difficulty setting up the portfolio (Snaps) so switched to Cubic after a few hours.

Is there a way to either add an About page OR preferably have the “About” be a featured post that never moves from that top left spot? (It would be the first image you can click on in that grid on the home page)

Thank you for your help. I really appreciate it as I am NOT tech savvy.

  • Hi there!

You could publish a separate About page and then set it as a static front page on your site.

If you’d prefer to keep the grid-based design on your site’s front page, then an option is to include your About page’s content in a post and set it as sticky. Sticky posts will always be “stuck” to the very top of your posts page.

You can find information, including handy screenshots, for setting a post as sticky here:

As an extra note: Your site is hosted over at WordPress.com while these forums are intended for folk who are hosting their sites elsewhere and running on the free software available here at www.remarpro.com. (If you’re unsure on the differences between WordPress.com and www.remarpro.com then this guide gives a good overview.)

If you have any extra questions then best place for you to get help are the forums over on WordPress.com here:

Hope that information’s useful! I’ll close this thread for now but please do post over on WordPress.com if extra questions come up.
