I set up a job using the BackWPup plugin, but it stopped running on a schedule around the time I updated WordPress.
When I run it manually, a backup is created without any problems, but when I set a schedule, the next execution date becomes 1970/01/01 as soon as that time arrives, and no backup is created.

I haven’t made any changes to wp-cron.php, and similar articles in the past did not apply to this cause.
    What could be the cause?

    WordPress version: 6.6.1
    BackWPup version: 3.6.10

    Hi,

    Thank you for reaching out.

You are using a very old version of BackWPUp. Please update it to the latest version or reinstall the latest version.

Let us know how it goes.

    Best Regards,

    Hi,
    Thank you for your reply.

There was no update notification, but after uninstalling it and installing it again, it went away.

What’s strange is that the name of the plug-in was before “BackWPup Pro”, but it is now displayed as “BackWPup”, so should I think that it is a different plug-in?

Hi @ak0727, great to know that everything is working fine now!

You can always update the free version, and it usually updates automatically.

For the pro version, you will need an active license in order to update!

    I hope my answer helps!
