About resources usage with settings…

I was curious if I set for how long to remember bad logins, for example, for a few hours, would it eat a lot of resources if I get a lot of login attempts daily? By default, it was 5 minutes, but I made it to 180 minutes. I also made only max 2 bad logins and ban stays for 6 hours. Does this increase my resources usage a lot?
