About Page type in Schema settings

    Hi, I decided to deep dive into Seo Yoast, and I noticed your option about selecting the Page type in Schema settings.

    So I marked my Contacts page in your settings. And now I have a question: I have 2 “About” pages on my website. One about me (the author of website). And the other about my website (description of my project).

    So what page do I need to mark as an “About” page in your settings? Can I mark them both?

    Hello George,

    We understand that you have two ‘About’ pages on your site. The About page option describes your website’s “About” page. We are unable to confirm if there is a penalty if you choose the About page option for both About pages. However, setting invalid options can cause validation errors which you will see in the Google Schema Validator or Google Search Console.
