    Can I confirm some beliefs I have about the plugin and correct me if I am wrong..

    There are two ways to implement this, using a calendar as a shortcode within a page and a woocommerce implementation linked to a product.

    1. Probably a stupid question, but with the stripe extension installed, am I correct in thinking the only way to collect a payment is via the woocommerce implementation? There is no way to generate an email from a reservation request made on a shortcoded calender on a page, in the native pinpoint approval area that collects a payment?
    2. If the only way to collect a payment is via woocommerce, is it possible to cater to a reservation which requires a manual edit to a pending order to set what the price is?

    Essentially, our client has some cases where a price can be figured out there and then, and some cases where a human being has to see what the reservation is, set the price and initiate an email to the visitor for them to pay.

    Hi,

    If you use the plugin with the shortcode in the page, the payment can only be collected at the moment the booking request is made.

    For the WooCommerce integration, our plugin sends the information regarding the booking to the WooCommerce Cart and everything is handled by WooCommerce. Once the order is made, the information regarding the booking can’t be edited (dates, extras etc.)

    We have in plan to add the feature to send payment links, so users can pay after the request is made and approved by the admin. This feature will be implemented in version 3.x of the plugin.

    Thanks that’s really clear.

    So in the proposed 3.x release, will it be possible for the admin to see the details of the request, set the price of it manually and submit it back to the customer along with a payment link?

    looking through the documentation the interface looks really good, when will 3.x be released?

    Hi,

    Version 3 will have the option for the admin to change the reservations details, including pricing and sending a payment links, depending on the payment system used.

    Version 3 is in BETA at the moment for clients that have a PRO licence. We expect to have a full launch and replace version 2 by the end of the year. We will be adding features constantly throughout the year until we cover all the features that version 2 has.
