    Hello,
    MailPoet 3 seems good! Thank you!

    I have question about images in latest content whent “Excerpt” is selected.
    In the latest content settings, I see “Featured image position”. My problem is that I hardly use Featured images. I use images within my posts. but none of them show in the excerpt in the newsletter.

    In MailPoet 2, the excerpt in the newsletter would automatically show the first image found in the post. Which is by the way what my theme does on archive pages. This does suit me.

    Is there any chance for MailPoet 3 to allow such an option in post excerpts? Or will we always be forced to use Featured images (or show full post) if we want an image to show in the newsletter?

    P.S. (totally different matter) I hope that soon editors will be able to manage subscribers.

    1. You’re describing an interesting use case. We’ll add it to our list of future improvements. We can’t promise if and when it will get implemented given the number of other priority issues.

    2. You can allow editors to manage subscriber by using a hook.

    1. I am glad you will take my ‘image in excerpt” proposal into account. I hope it’s soone but I understand your priority concern. Fair enough.

    2. Using a hook. I just implemented and replied in the topic your mentioned. All is well.

    I don’t use featured photos and my WP excerpts typically use the first photo in the post (usually the first thing I include in posts). With MailPoet 3 some of the 1 photos in a post appear in excerpts and not for other posts. Each post has a photo, but for some reason only some of the post excerpts include the photo. I can’t find any patterns involving the photos that would explain this.

    I support this, had exactly the same problem while goind from Mailpoet 2 to Mailpoet 3, since I don’t use featured image either.

    Would love to see this feature updated ??
