I see that the mods don’t allow discussion of web hosts because of the spam threat. I also see there is quite a bit of interest in host comparisons.
Would it be possible to have host comparison threads by not permitting links in such threads? Wouldn’t that make it impossible for anyone to generate affiliate income by spamming such discussions?
As an alternative perhaps those interested could be referred to a site like trustpilot? I can’t comment on the quality of that site but there does seem to be many reports from users there.
I assume all of this has probably been considered already, but just in case, a few suggestions…
